Magic Realism by Linux Wizard

Hurdling over the obstacles and attaining the ultimatum, exhibits the perseverance and endurance towards the final destiny of a man. Nothing seems to be impossible if there is a thrive for what you do and what you want to do.

Mr. Islam Gaber Abou Al Ala is the Linux Administrator for an I.T. company in Egypt providing support for financial companies in Linux platform. He traversed with a destined thought of being with the World’s renowned partner’s of Red Hat Inc. in providing Networking courses in Linux platform; ipsr solutions ltd.

Flying the long way from Egypt to the southern tip of India, Kerala to do the prestigious certificate courses like Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator (RHCVA), Red Hat Certified Security Specialist (RHCSS), Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist (RHCDS) and Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) in a stretch is an unconventional or rather a new beginning to the training phenomenon at IPSR.

In just 40 days, there was too much to imbibe. Through the proper scheduling and Islam’s steadfast loyalty towards the aim made the process easier. Training, practice and exams were all thickly-packed package in a way that a single day was not gone astray. He returned upholding what he had destined for – still managing time to enjoy the monsoon and some south-Indian spicy cuisine.

IPSR Media sat with Islam to know about his experience at IPSR and Kerala.


“I had been to India before, I faced several problems then. This time around, things were easy. IPSR made it simple.I really liked the training at IPSR and it was way above my expectations. If to rate, I am satisfied over 90%. IPSR is doing a good work and stands outstanding in aspects of training, lab facility and hospitality. Honestly, I didn’t expect such international facilities and I am surprised by the training at IPSR. Food wise, I was very concerned about Halal meat, but you guys made it easy for me explaining every single bit of everything. Thank you.”

What is your favorite Indian food, Islam? What did you eat most to survive?

“Chicken 65!!! (Laughs) When I get back to Egypt, kindly send me the recipe. I will get my wife to prepare some.”

“For our readers, Chicken 65 does not mean 65 pieces of chicken. Can anyone eat that much! I wouldn’t believe. Just in case you wish to try what Islam likes best:”


Ingredients
Chicken boneless – 1 kg(cut into small pieces)
Ginger – 2 tbsp; Garlic – 6 cloves
Green chillies – 4 numbers; Curd – 3/4 cup
Lime juice – 1 tbsp; Chilly powder – 1 tbsp
Red color powder – A pinch; Salt – As required
Egg – 1; Rice powder – 1 tbsp; Oil – As required.
Method
1. Grind together ginger, garlic and green chillies.
2. Marinate the chicken with rest of the ingredients(except oil) and ground paste for 5 hours or over night.
3. Heat oil, add the chicken pieces in small portions and cover it with a lid and fry for 10 minutes in low flame and open the lid and fry in high flame for 5 or 10 minutes till it becomes dark red in color.
4. Decorate with sliced onion, lemon wedges and fried curry leaves.

That been said, we enjoyed Islam’s valued presence at IPSR. Statistically he is the 62nd RHCVA, 51st RHCSS and 24th RHCDS of IPSR. Islam adds a sentence to his farewell note before he bids goodbye –

“I’ll be back to IPSR in September to do RHCA.”

 

Islam’s story is a full proof of success that came in with true dedication. IPSR is there to support each trainee who aims to meet the training needs. It’s a magic realism, which happens only at IPSR.
